Topic: Building Sustainable Talent Pipelines

With talent challenges being the highest-ranking business need over the last several years, business leaders have asked the question: With the limited resources we have, how do we build sustainable talent pipelines that deliver us better and more talent?

Key Takeaways:

  • How businesses can band together to build high performing talent pipelines
  • How firms can best engage education institutions
  • How supply chain management principles via Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) can be leveraged to ensure firms are receiving an ROI on their educational partnerships

Vincent Ginski is the NC Chamber Foundation’s Director of Workforce Competitiveness. Ginski leads the organization’s Institute for Workforce Competitiveness and develops the long-term strategy and policy on workforce and talent-related issues. A Fellow of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Talent Pipeline Management program and a talent finance innovator, Vincent brings with him a proven track record leading cross-sector strategic initiatives to strengthen the economic competitiveness of regions.

Prior to joining the NC Chamber Foundation, Ginski served as vice president of talent and strategic initiatives at the Gaston Business Association where he launched the Talent Partnership, which has been recognized nationally and statewide as an innovative solution trailblazing a new era of workforce development.

Under Ginski’s leadership, the Institute for Workforce Competitiveness advances talent outcomes by deploying Talent Pipeline Management for key industries across North Carolina, builds leadership capacity to develop and implement transformative workforce solutions and partnerships, and identifies policy innovations to close the people and skills gap. Working with the NC Chamber Foundation President, Ginski also provides counsel to the NC Chamber on education and talent public policy issues, as well as evaluates and updates Vision 2030 to reflect goal achievement and the changing North Carolina landscape.
