About this event

Join us for our first  NCER virtual luncheon of 2021 on Friday, January 8th at 11:30 AM.

Our theme this year is--MAKING AN IMPACT--on people, organizations, your business success and your community. Since our meetings for now are virtual, we will be fortunate to have some national speakers that would otherwise be unavailable to us.

We'll kick off the year with video "guru" Lou Bortone, a former Senior Vice President of Marketing for Fox Family Worldwide TV who will show you how to use video to make an impact.

How to Use Video to Make a Bigger Impact: Breaking Through in the Age of Overwhelm

This past year has been challenging on so many levels, not the least of which is the sense of overwhelm and uncertainty. That means it’s more difficult than ever to get your message out and make an impact. And now, with more people working from home, the distractions and interruptions are even more prevalent. So how do you keep your audience engaged in a noisy, hyper-connected world?

Discover some practical tips for captivating your distracted viewers using the power of video, whether you're presenting live on Zoom or trying to get more video views on YouTube or Facebook.

We'll look at:

  • Why online video is the most powerful way to make an impact in 2021
  • How to use video marketing and video outreach to break through the noise and overwhelm
  • The opportunities and challenges of presenting on live video vs. pre-recorded video
  • How to keep your viewers involved and engaged during Zoom meetings
  • Discover a new video platform that will help you create engaging group meetings
  • Best practices for live streaming on Facebook
  • How to find and leverage your "video sweet spot” and get your message heard

Lou Bortone is known as The Video Godfather. We’re not exactly sure why and, frankly, we’re a little afraid to ask! What we do know is that Lou has been a pioneer and thought leader in the video space since the launch of YouTube in 2005. He’s helped thousands of entrepreneurs and companies create and leverage online video to build their brands and dramatically grow their revenues.

Prior to his industry leading work in online video marketing, Lou spent over 20 years as a marketing executive in the television and entertainment industries, including stints as National Promotion Manager for E! Entertainment Television, and Senior Vice President of Marketing for Fox Family Worldwide in Los Angeles.

Lou is a popular speaker, author, and ghostwriter of six business books. He’s also the author of “Video Marketing Rules: How to Win in a World Gone Video.” You can learn more about Lou at www.LouBortone.com
