Topic: Supply Chain Security

Mr. Artis is the Chief Executive Officer for JibChain, a supply chain risk management as a service firm. He retired from the Army in 2019 serving 20 years as a Logistics and Supply Chain professional. Mr. Artis served as the Logistics Branch Chief for the Defense Intelligence Agency as well as Supply Chain Risk Manager for the National Reconnaissance Office.

Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) is critical for both Federal Agencies and Commercial sectors. Through his work at JibChain, Mr. Artis and his team have reviewed the evolution of supply chain and cyber security risk over time and identified the emerging threats facing supply chain operations for 2023. Mr. Artis will discuss how organizations can design effective strategies to mitigate supply chain risk through people, processes, and technology as well as drive manageable change and mature a supply chain risk management program. He will also provide insight into best practices to defend against emerging threats in cyber security and software supply chain risk and how to design a Zero-Trust Model to strengthen your organization's security posture.

Mr. Artis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics and Transportation Management, a Master’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Markets.
